Resolving how a space will work, feel and flow at drawing stage, before any contractor is on site, avoids the costly changes and compromises that arise when these questions are left unanswered until the build is underway. Our interior architecture service is often the starting point for a broader design project, with the spatial and structural work forming the foundation on which the interior scheme is built. It can also be engaged as a standalone service for clients who need spatial and structural design thinking for a project being managed by their own team.

Our Approach

Spatial Analysis and Planning

We begin by analysing how the existing space works and where it falls short. We look at flow, proportion, light, storage and the relationship between rooms. From there we develop layout proposals that address what is not working and build on what already is.

Structural and Layout Proposals

We work with structural engineers and architects as needed to develop proposals for reconfiguration, extension or alteration. Our role is to translate design intent into buildable proposals that are clear and resolved, and ready for planning or building control where required.

Joinery and Architectural Detailing

We design bespoke joinery and architectural detailing that gives a home its character and finish. Built in wardrobes, panelling, staircases, fitted furniture and structural elements are all designed to the same standard as the interior scheme itself.

Coordination and Delivery

We coordinate with all relevant consultants and contractors to make sure the architectural elements of your project are delivered as designed. We stay involved through the build to maintain quality and resolve anything that requires design input on site.
